K20 hauling a C10

My son just put a 5.3LS motor in his '66, its a little screamer now. Still working some bugs out in the clutch though. Should be back on the road this weekend.

Thank you its a work truck not a show truck. I dont use it much so figured if i was going to have a 1 ton dump it should be a fun one too not a new plastic one.

Here's a pic of my 72 C30 NAPCO. 14,000 miles, original paint, CST, rust free, factory AC, PS, PB, fully loaded.

Formerly owned by Elvis.

This was snapped Friday night after the bar closed. I was the designated driver.

Not the heaviest load the old K10 has ever pulled but for sure one of the coolest.

Meh, if he cuts loose, it'll soak into his clothes. Even if it doesn't, the evaporation off the people below getting wet will probably cool them off, once the temp of the urine cools (and it's probably that hot already). It's a completely different lifestyle, there.

That's exactly what I have wanted for many years. I sold the cool as heck little '71 C/30 wrecker I had for just that reason. I couldn't have both and I'd get the use from a li'l tipper.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Special K the funny thing is that 67 dump spent the first 35 years as a wrecker before the PO swapped it to a tipper.

How about that? I considered that, but decided the truck had survived this long as a wrecker to become a cool collector find, as well as by the time I bought a dump body or truck with one I'd have as much in that as just buying one. Plus the money from selling mine. The sling wrecker unit had become a novelty/hobbiest thing more than a money maker. Also, I want a medium duty wrecker better suited for hauling light duties. You must enjoy every time you have to use that thing

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

I hauled a few last things from the farm I helped maintain yesterday. New owners settle tomorrow and I got the word the 3-pt hitch hydraulic log splitter wasn't being taken by someone else. Got the funky little John Deere mower and a walk behind weed whacker thing I think my sister and b.i.l. could use up on their rocky mountain yard. He uses a weed whacker on the whole yard

My friends wanted the brakes fixed for the new owners, so I had to load that thing w/o the help of the front end bucket...come-along, hi-lift jack, and blocks of wood gotter done. Heavy!
