Just thought I'd say you're not alone. The "bugs" in my project have got me down as well. I guess I just had this romanticized idea of what it was going to be once I got it together and on the road, and it's just not quite what I had imagined. It's hard to convince myself to just keep plugging along, but, it's just part of it. I think one thing that has hurt me is I haven't 100% finished what I intended for this part of the build, but since I can drive it, I haven't really worked on anything since I got it rolling. I'd probably feel a lot better if I finished up the little things I had intended.

Keep your head up!
I remember one time needing to borrow a car because everything i owned was either apart or broke. Kept thinking W.T.H. am i doing, i should sell everthing and buy something newer or new with a payment. Sometimes you should walk away for a bit and do other things to clear your head. Then there are times when I`m walking up to my baby (my 67 Sub) and think geez i love this truck.
I`ve been up and down the east coast in my Suburban and panel truck, mostly towing my racecar or picking up another project. I LOVE the looks and attention my truck gets.

Much like many of you I am sure; I have a lot going on right now. When I posted my little hissy fit a week ago things had piled up a bit. I am impatient by nature, I always have been. This leads to dissatisfaction/frustration when things don't turn out the way they should, and when real life issues are added it weighs on me heavily. The truck should be an outlet for the everyday life issues, and that is what I am concentrating on, making the truck an escape from the grind and not an additional weight. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, I drove her to work this morning and it was a great ride. Now I can't wait to drive to lunch...

I forgot to mention I'm thinking about entering her in a show tomorrow. I have never entered a car show but this one benefits a wounded warrior from the area, so I figured it won't hurt. I am not really interested in anyone "judging" my truck, hopefully there are more thumbs up than down. Of course I'll take pics...

Took her out for a show today, she got a ton of looks but no hardware. It was a small show around 100 cars with no classes just Top 5 Best of Show and then 40 peoples picks. A lot of local club cars and they cleaned up the awards. No matter to me, met a couple of truck owners and of course turned them onto the forum. Here are a couple of pics...
