Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Just because it is custom doesn't mean that people will like it, that one proves it.

That is a really nice truck. Great job and I am jealous that I will not get to drive mine for another year.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Tim you did a GREAT job, I like your truck.
Now you have to drive it for the next 50 years!! I ended up changing my front springs 3 times, and I think softer is better for me as I drive it every day. What is next !!!

here are a couple engine shots and a crappy interior shot. I have done some work to it since this photo, I run the tom tom for my speedo at the moment, eventually I'll get the cable x for the electronic to analog sender.

I finally got the interior done and the rear windows installed. Hood, tailgate and bumpers are all that's left to do.

I wish my "junk" looked that good. I have quite a way to go before I get to the body work I like both trucks I have always liked the early 60s Chevy too.

What size tires and wheels you running? Look's like my truck just without spinners. I saw your truck somewhere else but, the pictures went blurry when I enlarged them... glad to finally see a good picture of it. Super looking truck, awesome patina. |

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
My latest DD and a work in progress. Truck is basically stock, 235 which will stay with plans to add an hei, Fenton splits and something better then the Rochester in the future. I installed a S10 5 speed but need to pull shortly for a rebuild due to bearing noise. I have rewired it with a new harness and replaced the front bearings with tapered rollers. PO was not very mechanically inclined so had to fix a lot of mickey mouse items.

My truck aka Fred had it's first photoshoot Saturday. My wifes boss wanted it as a prop for her two granddaughters. And my wife and I also got some made with it. Here is one of it be itself.
