One more showing rear crossills..will wait till tomorrow to show what I think is going to be a trick filler for that 8" gap....jim

Ok guys ....today's progress....couple of shots of hoops and plates....drilled and tapped crossills......then time to install Mr Porterbuilt stuff.....

But before that install needed to clean shop so I took a couple pics outside 1st
time with bed on....body line close but the shimming will be easy with plate setup......

And then we got Mr P's accuair bracket bolted it with plates welded to front hoops...He designed it to mount on front bed panel lower lip....I just moved 5" rearward and attached to hoops..Before u ask...It's way above the drive shaft....

Since u brought up the "what" .....how about a sneek peek at an exhaust idea....imagine this under modified license plate opening and flush with bottom of bumper......yeah it will work....And u are looking at them upside down in his pic..jim

What a great idea! Although I though Thorbeck was having serious issues supplying product ! I want a few items the have but always says out of stock

And that's 3/16 wall tubing..ordered on tuesday...shipped it snail mail..still got it sat.....actually had jeff thorbeck call me back when i left voicemail..made feel better about online ordering...I had heard same stories......jim

Thats a lot of work you've done with the hoops and plates, looks like a nice way to reduce the extra weight in sheetmetal when raising the bed up.

A couple better pics.............what a pain this was but worth it when finished I think....valve cover script is so thin ...makes body work real tedious....about 95% done with this one......jim
