Forgot to tell about the new engine. Bought it from Jeg's. It's a new GM crate engine 350 cu in. 260 H.P., 4 bolt main. Was $1500 and free shipping. It's a great little engine and you can't beat the price for a new engine. 100,000 mile or 3 yr warranty....Jim

Oh yeah, Jimbo showed up at our local Trunk or Treat event on Wed night with his truck.

I'm new to the forum and was Just curious if there is any videos of the truck on YouTube or if it has been treated to any professional photo shoots? This truck is a piece of work! I love the work on the tails! Great work and write up!

Thanks very much for the compliments on the truck, sorry to say there is NO video on You Tube, and no pro photo shots. Of course I'm one sided on this, but thought it should have been picked up by someone for a mag, it is a clean built truck. Just haven't been in the right place at the right time

That'll be pretty sweet... Ya'll should put it out on youtube and really show the work off. A great build!

Nice job Jim I like that you kept it a step side! I buy up long beds and shorten them I can find them all day long short beds are a little more difficult. Your interior work is very clean...Ron

Well I'm sorry to say I'm on here to blow my own horn. Over this past week-end was the Mid-America Nats in Springfield, MO. Jimbo's 67 was chosen by the NSRA for an award from Fatman Fab. My son Mark and I built this truck so we were very pleased it won. While we are not professional builders, we are good home grown builders and proud of what we do. So I'm going to post up some pics of the winners of the event.

Pic 1 and 2 Jimbo's pickup in the underground garage where all the winners were on display, because of the rain.
