It's a universal set. I probably could have gotten by with less circuits but I would rather have to many than not enough. With this kit I only need to put in the wires I will use so i wont have a bunch of extras hanging around.

Does it have for multiple radiator fans? I'm asking because I'm going to try to use the LS1 radiator and fan setup and it has 2 fans.

It has 1 wire for the radiator fan. I'm sure if you contacted them they would be able to let you know if your fans would work. I plan on running 2 fans myself but they will be after market so I'm going to have to research that.

you can never have too many circuits in your truck
by the time you add all the options they will disappear fast.
my preference is to run the fan directly off the battery and only use the fan circuit to feed the relays for the fans.
i have a distribution block in my console, heavy cable from battery to the dist block.
panel feed, stereo amps (fused at block), fan (30a breaker), vintage air (30a breaker) and my motor feed (ram jet harness 50a maxi fuse)
all run off the distribution block

Love the firewall and trans tunnel Kim you are making some great process and the quality of the workmanship is supreme. Re the radiator fans shouldn't they be supplied direct from the battery via a relay. ta George

You could always de-pin the circuits you don't need. I took out my extras very carefully at the rear of the block and stored them in baggies for later use if I ever need them. It really cleans up under the dash not having the extras in the way. You'll find that there are a BUNCH of circuits you won't use because of the LSx harness.

That's why I went with the AAW kit because I only put in what I need.

Is there any down side leaving the vent as is aside from debris getting in there? I live in a very wet area and have concerns about water getting in and rusting. I still like the idea of fresh air and mine seems rust free but if its a common area for rust I might have to close it up as well.

The only down side to leaving it open is that stuff can get in and cause a rust problem.
The rust wasn't my concern as I saw one at a show with it closed and liked it so that's why I did it.

Just when I think I'm doing something miraculous by filling a few holes in my firewall, I see your build and immediately Wowed! Your work is incredible! ; )
Ps- I'm going to check into that wiring kit that you bought! I'm not ready for it, but have to keep my credit card ready for things that I'll need!

A little up date.
Got my headers in.
Two different sets #1= 1-3/4' primaries with a 3" collector.
#2= 1-5/8" primaries with a 2-1/2" collector.
Had to go with #1 because #2 would interfere with the brake pedal even though #2 cleared better on the passenger side.
Was probably going to use them anyway because of the larger primaries. Everything I've seen on the LS engines shows they like them.

As you can see in the previous post #1 fit really well on the passenger side. It looked the same on the drivers side until I put my brake pedal on. The collector dumped right where the pedal comes out of the firewall.
#2 fits just fine on the drivers side but gets a little close to the frame on passenger side. It sticks out a little further to clear the starter. A little work on the frame will cure that problem.
The last pic is the bracket to raise my AC pump up.

I sent the headers out to get ceramic coated after I cleaned the welding slag up a little.

They're Sanderson headers. Just under $500 coated. They make a few different sets for the LS engines.

Just a small update.
Got the headers back from being ceramic coated. They even got the stuff inside the primaries and collectors.
Got the frame notched to clear the passenger header. Will be welding in a piece of schedule 40 pipe to finish it off.
Also got the fire wall set back all welded in and ground down.
Now I'm trying to find a seating arrangement that I can live with that wont cost a fortune.
