Just because it is custom doesn't mean that people will like it, that one proves it.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Here are some recent pics of my 53 gmc project...vintage a/c is now working...still like some in interior...and finishing mini wheel tubs...some 100 mile road trips with the 350 vortec ,700r4, 3.23 ratio gear got 19 mpg running air...truck steers great with the chassis engineering bolt on clip...ride is a little rough..I have 350 lb springs...wondering if 325 would have been better..

That is a really nice truck. Great job and I am jealous that I will not get to drive mine for another year.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Tim you did a GREAT job, I like your truck.
Now you have to drive it for the next 50 years!! I ended up changing my front springs 3 times, and I think softer is better for me as I drive it every day. What is next !!!

I wish my "junk" looked that good. I have quite a way to go before I get to the body work I like both trucks I have always liked the early 60s Chevy too.

ratty 46
here are a couple engine shots and a crappy interior shot. I have done some work to it since this photo, I run the tom tom for my speedo at the moment, eventually I'll get the cable x for the electronic to analog sender.
