Wow, she looks great! I'm pretty sure that's the longest 67-72 I've ever seen
I'll bet your painter when through a lot of paint! Can't wait to see it 100% done!

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
That truck would not have looked that bad if the had put the sleeper on the other way. The big window needs to be by the doors the the quarter windows are angled the wrong way! See too much beer and fabricating do not mix

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
It almost looks like they used an extended cab behind the original crew cab and then another crew cab at the back. But you're right, they got the ext cab portion on backwards. And the top of it doesn't look so nice.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
Their were some coach built trucks that had two cabs joined but they looked bad using all front doors. Chevy never built any in the 67-72 style but since then others have. This one started out as a 3 door Suburban that was shortened using a truck cab for parts then I did the 4th door conversion during the rust replacement. You will find a few others here on the board but this is by far the cleanest one I have seen so far.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I may have missed it reading through the thread, but what was the name of the rust preventative stuff, and did it end up working out well?

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!
I hope you go with the chrome or aluminum head light bezels and grill trim. Maybe my opinion is swayed toward my truck.
