Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
I can't remember. I don't have the springs under it right now. The springs are at my parents place now. I'm headed down there this week for the 4th and will look at them to see who's they are. I do know I bought them as a 2.5" lift and the actually gave about 4" of lift.

Doesn't look like much... but I am determined to make her turn some heads again. Check out my build thread if you would like. I need all the help I can get.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
New member in IL. Thought i'd share my 70. Smoking pic is after I drove it home 6 hours across Washington and the 400SB wasn't right but I had other plans for the motor so I kept on trucking rather than eat a mountain pass tow bill. Since then...350 crate. 2" lift rear. 1" zero rates in front. Dana 60/14 bolt. 1 ton brake system. 4 wheel disc. 33" Cooper AT3s. I'll take some after pics when i pick it up from the tranny shop.

And another S. Texas newbie here... I'm South of Austin in Driftwood, we should all meet up for sure. Put me on the list for a Hill Country cruise.

What it looked like when i got it. 6 inch suspension 3 inch body, 3/4 ton axels, rebuilt 350, lots of work to do, but its pretty sound mechanically.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
Work in progress! 1st pic is of the Blaze when I got it, 2nd pic is now after a few modifications (2 of which were a 4 inch rough country lift, and 35" Wrangler Kevlars), 3rd pic is the motor when I got it, and 4th pic is motor after me and my brother gave it a 48 hr makeover!
