Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Here's mine ...

*89 Silverado RCSB
*5.7L.
*Nicely-optioned truck.. PW, PDL, tilt wheel, rear sliding glass, etc.
*Mostly stock, just added a drop-in bedliner, dual exhaust and 15x8 chrome rallys
*1 repaint in original 2-tone color Sandstone and Caramel metallic paint colors
*Cloth bench seat reupholstered with vinyl
*I'm 2nd owner, had it almost 20 years now

Since these pics were taken I added a 2/4 drop kit ... I'll try and post some newer / better photos soon

^Love it! There's a guy I work with who has one the same color combo; it's really grown on me. And the chrome rallies look great!

That's a nice 89. I had an 88 GMC shorty I really liked. Your chromed rallys are a nice touch too.

Mapearso, I like that truck!
I had an 88 with darker 2 tone colors and similar adds. Loved that truck but needed something larger at the time. I still love the shortys though.

Thanks for the kind words. Had it a long time now. Not a lot of adds / mods but I recently added a nice 3 spoke sport steering wheel from the 67-72 era trucks. S'pose I need to post a pic of it too

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Got new accessories, waiting to order some spot lights for the brush guard and I'm thinking about a 52in curved light bar across the roof... But, never been a huge fan of light bars... I'm just completing the stereotype at this point.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Thanks guys. I am a big fan of almost all the 2-Tone paint schemes on these 88-98s.. they have the old-school look ... but on a newer model truck!

I was thinking of going buckets/console.. and I even found some correct blue cloth bucket seats at the JY... but I couldn't come around to $pending more $$ to get them recovered in the right color.

My 98 SAS, 99 CCSB (just brought home), 96 Tahoe (sold), 95 w/t (plain as I have ever seen one, not even a/c) and also sold. Don't have pics of the crew cab long box cummins yet (going to look at it tomorrow), hope to bring her home in the next week or so.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Diggin' that crew dually. That tailgate with the firebird tails looks pretty wicked too. How much of a body drop does that red truck of yours have? Nice tailgate idea for it, by the way.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Thanks! Hopefully that's on the chopping block next. The tailgate on my red truck will actually be the taillight. And no body drop yet. Just laying frame..

And the complementary custom 67 front end for the 94. Very rough ATM

I definitely like the look of it. It's different, but it's pretty damn neat.
That custom '67 clip for your '94 is badass.
