Re: SoCal checkin' in

If I'm not mistaken (John Oro and Vince can correct me) we were the last ones to leave between 4:30 or 5 pm.

Trust me, late is ok. Late was my name last time. LOL

Are we still bringing our left over parts?
Look what I found?
The elusive brown cluster, and a black one. Not sure if im keeping them or not. I will bring them just in case.

Thought I try to make a speaker box. Yea it looks like crap. LOL

Re: SoCal checkin' in

I plan on being there. Bringing a few parts to fund the build.

Camel humps, 462 castings, professional port and polish, 58 cc, fresh valve job, new 202/160 valves, new springs, screw in studs, guide plates, $400.

Black seat belts dated 71, complete set, retractors and covers like new, minor fading on parts of webbing, excellent for driver $50

CCP 3" front drop springs, (had on my 72 for about 6 months) $45

TCI deep cast aluminum trans pan, fits 700R4/4L60E, $50

And a few other things.

Re: SoCal checkin' in

Thinkin' about a Get-Together in August (post Brothers Show).
This time how about some bbq?
Maybe this will get more members out since their trucks will be done for the Brother's Show.
I talked to board member Manimal (Lance) about doing the bbq and how he goes about it, and he sent me this pm;

Also need to find a good place to have this...
Would prefer a nice park in a nice area freeway close with enough parking that is close to the area we'll be eating.
Thinkin' Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, San Dimas Canyon Park, Prado Regional Park, Upland Memorial Park, Ruben Ayala Park...
Any other suggestions?
Looks like the 3rd week of August unless there is holiday or another event.

Hey guys, I'm actually in the process of moving into the new, better, and bigger shop. I wouldn't mind having it at my shop. I have lots of parking, i'm right off of the freeways, and I have a big bbq here. I've been thinking about having a meet/ grand opening shindig so everyone can check the new place out, and see some of the projects we have going on, as well as check out the new chassis were just about done with that's going under the 63 c10. Let me know if you guys would be interested.
