Hey frostie, that is a sweet console. A great way to integrate new and old. Can't wait to see the console/seat thread. Later, Mario.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

I don't remember if I ever posted mine on here, anyway, here is mine. All factory original K5 with 4 speed, and A/C. I just installed the new steering wheel with tilt and will soon add a factory AM/FM radio. It has the original engine, paint, seats, etc... and all the documentation including the POP. My boys and I love the Blazer, esp with the top off.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

I may.... it depends on how muchi like the BB..Mike says it runs great....
I already have a complete 72 SB out of a C30.. ran good when it was removed.... i mean complete everything inc the riser for the carb... I have a 70s style 6Cyl Frigidaire Compressor from a buick that worked great... need brackets and some lines..I have a condenser etc...
Id like to get the A/C goin...just because it has it!
Its a nice solid truck no rot....(as anyone could see on his post)
I would like it to appear as it did when it was new as per SPID I like the 68 nose on it...but it isnt correct... and the nose would look great on my 67!

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Thanks dunn

Blue,
Other than this shot, I don't have anything right now.Once I finish the engine and interior, I'll post them.

It has a GM crate motor, rebuilt original TH350, warmed up with a shift kit and TH400 torque converter. Rebuilt original NP205. Original Dana 44 and open GM 12 bolt with 3.07's. This was a California truck before coming to me. Original suspension as well. Great original interior that needed a little cleaning up.

If anyone has a line on an original style roll bar (i.e. mounts in front of the rear wheel wells) or the white wheels and dog dish wheel set up, drop me a line

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Hey Sig, I have the exact set up. GM 260 hp crate motor and a built th350 with the shift kit and th400 converter as well. I have never actually driven my Blazer though. I just put the tranny and t-case in last weekend. Did some work to it this weekend thghtening up some bolts and connecting the driveshafts. How do you like your transmission?

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

sigsauer:

Nice Blazer. I'm curious if your rear wheel wells were covered with carpet since your interior is still original. I have a 72 CST and was told the carpet on the wheel wells was not factory... but I suspect it is factory.

I hope you make your Blazer the way you want it. This site has a wealth of information. The people on here know a thing or two as well.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Thanks All
Blue,

The tranny set up is great. The 400 converter gives it a higher stall speed and the shift kit works nice with the larger wheels (31x10.5 BFG's).

Green,

I do not have carpet on the rear interior wheel wells, just that beautiful Hugger Orange!!!!
