Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

...well they are half way shaved , they just have some peices of a bed side/patch panel cut down and rivited over them for now until i get around to doing it right. need to grind the rivets off and trim the metal down and weld it in. the way it is now is only temporary so their isn't a big hole where the handles used to be haha. and the drivers side one is still their for now but will eventually get shaved as well

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

simple green to clean them(also use a scrub brush) and rit brand dye, both from walmart

the dye was like $3, and the simple green was about $6 or so for 2 liters

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

not sure, but after mine dried they looked like a super dark blue (probably cause the greenish color they started out as) , but oh well thats ok because they look 100x's better now, and they are only temporary till i can get them redone or whatever im gonna do. also decided to color the bowtie on the buckles silver for a little extra contrast

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

sure let me give it a whirl for yah . so if i understand what you are saying correctly, is that the wheels are rubbing on the inside on the back with them on??? if that is correct, you will need some same bolt patter to same bolt pattern adapters to push them out far enough to not rub. this is what i had to do on mine, even though it has the wider 71-72 rear end under it. on the wheels i have the offset was wrong because they came off of a 99 suburban
