Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Well fellas I had a finish date of two weeks but I had to have emergency surgery the 10th to remove my appendix and just home today.
No lifting or manual labor for 4 weeks, so looks like I will be missing a few car shows I was looking forward too but everything happens for a reason. Just saying it may be a few weeks before any new posts.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Just stumbled across your thread, haven't had time to look at it all, but seen that engine cover and love it! Looks great. I've been wanting to come up with something just like that for my engine.
I may ride out for that show in Reeds Springs, is your truck gonna be there? |

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Thanks for the kind words guys. I am feeling much better and am back (slowly) on the truck, I have noticed that once I passed forty that the healing process seems to take a bit longer. lol

I intended to try to make Reeds Spring my first show but I just don't know if I will get done...after the surgery it seems the mind is willing but the body is weak. lol A few friends helped me get the bed on last night so things are progressing. It would be great to meet you if it works out. Mike Losh is thinking about bringing Cloud 9 to Reeds Spring, if that is the case I will not be bringing mine...like I said before, people would stand on top of my truck to get a better look at his.

Looks great!! I hate surprises but they do give you the opportunity to overbuild where the problem arose

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Truck looks amazing Rex. I bet a set of tubular lower arms will fix you bad news.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Your truck looks great Rex. I would try grinding the lower control arm first. If that doesn't work maybe some tubulars like the other guys suggested.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
Truck looks awesome, a set of tubular arms or clearance the originals would fix that for you. Hope it didn't damage the wheels to much.

Re: The Fuse is Lit...
We definitely have the same taste in trucks, seeing yours almost finished is inspiring me to get back on the body of mine and get some paint on it.
