Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Hey gang! So, I have been waiting patiently to finally be able to post in this section again! Not since selling my bagged '53 several years have I had something to show! That's all changed now! Traded my '72 C10 for this '54 3100. I love it! I really liked my '72 but this is more my style.
Quick details...'54 3100 but with a '52 grille, "faux" split windshield to go with the grille, '53 Caddy bumper, air ride front & back, '91 S10 frame w/ 4 link in rear, 15" steelies (for now) with white walls, '98 350 chevy w/ 700R4 auto od tranny, 36" Lokar shifter, Old School visor, and even A/C! Have been working steady on it since getting it in from Austin Texas one week ago. Plan on attending Charlotte Good Guys Nationals in 2 weeks! |

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Waybad...you are correct in the seat. As for the cover, not sure? Was white when I got it but I honestly think it has been dyed white.
Lowroder...the wheels are 15x7 front/back with 215/70/15 tires. Need 2 more American Classic Wide Whites for the back. Currently has "man made" whitewalls done by grinding the tire to expose the white. Driving me nuts that the front doesn't match the back!! Just weighing the option if whether I want to spend $600 for 2 tires or buy a complete set of bigger wheels for it? Thanks for the compliments folks! |
