Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Ive been away from this so long it sux. My eyes are crossed from looking at the screen going through everything trying to get caught up. I have to get on here more often. Anyways everyone, nice trucks and great progress on the updates, to bad I cant comment on each one cause I would here for days.
Here is an update on my 83, people from "the other site may have seen it". Finally got my wheels put on and almost finished my bed. The wheels are 22x9.5 all 4, foose legends and I love them. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Thanks. I did my doors myself about 3 years ago. I still have to fill in all the holes from the stock hinges but I travel so much lately I just get to do a little on the weekends right now so its been going very slow.

It was on the drivers side inner fender. It says: 161L 61 DOESKIN TAN SOLID Some pictures I took yesterday while test driving after I finished adjusting the steering box. It was scary sloppy for a 54k mile truck but 10 minutes with a 5/8" wrench and 3/16" allen wrench took care of it. Should have a mess of parts showing up this week to get it back to a reliable driver. For now I'm just going to clean it up and lower it. I should make a fun summer cruiser until I decide what direction to go with it. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I bought the wheels at punchy whitaker's in concord, NC. I was shocked to see he had the same price as I found online. His shop has been around for ever and has had a bad name in the past as high priced but I was shocked at his price for Foose wheels. He was cheaper than the place call rimtyme (one of those rent to own places).

Very clean truck I like how the inside door jambs look with the two tone. Good, clean job.
