Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Finished up my new seam sealer on the drip rail and painted the roof white. It was baby blue before. I like how it looks. Classy AND waterproof!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Took 10 hours but we just finished

Rear c-notches
Rear bags mounted
2" lowering blocks
CPP deluxe adjustable panhard bar
CPP 5" drop shocks
Connected the air lines and she works like a dream. Rides like a cadillac too. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Im dead tired and heading to my actual job now. Gunna be a long night.

Front end is getting bagged on Saturday morning. 8" welded in dropped cups, upper plates and CPP drop shocks. Should be close to laying the arms on the ground with the 3" deep cups.

Hmm...I predict "The Return of Teal" next...which isn't too bad of a thing to happen.

I slid mine around a few wet turns today...would have fixed the brakes if it was dry out or I had someplace dry to do it...my fronts stopped working on Saturday in a way that I would have sworn was a master cylinder, which is so routine to happen to me that I just made plans to buy one and finish swapping in the rest of the rubber brake parts that I already had (I swapped the rear parts a while back and forgot I never finished the fronts). Well, yesterday I found fluid leaking from the driver's front wheel cylinder...I just may have gotten lucky again and ended up only having parts I already bought replacements for, go out (we'll see tomorrow).

btw, I do NOT under any circumstances recommend that anyone drive using the parking brakes alone...well, unless maybe you're driving a 2300 lb Valiant/Nova/Vega/Falcon etc...which our C-10s aren't...and especially never in the wet...and especially not if you see me doing it

Question Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Is that a new repop or junkyard grille ? .

I'm in desperate need of one but I'm skittish about the " CHEVROLET " stamped repops....

Your rig is looking nice ! .

Dad and I dragged the old girl out from hibernation today. I would have drove it out except for a drum being stuck. Now I just need to figure out where to start!!!
