Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I guess you could call it almost yellow but really it is chartreuse witch is light green, it might just be the camera or florescent lights in the shop that makes it look yellow but it is the color that was original the white is called ivory. Thanks for all the nice comments I think it was a good choice and I am well pleased with it. Jake have you got your truck finished I know you were still working on it last I heard. Thanks all....Vernski

That looks great! It is going to be so nice with the chrome front end. Can't wait to see it all back together.

Verniski, Your truck looks great! Love the yellow and white and i agree with marke01 a little chrome on the front will look good. What kind of liner did you use on your bed? I am currently working on mine and I am thinking of doing the same thing you did.

62Barnfind sorry I missed your post the bed liner is from NAPA large spray can. the texture is a little finer than I wanted but looks ok in the end....Vernski

FYI you can buy Duplicolor brand bedliner material by the gallon then roll it on. If you want more texture you can add sand to it. We used it on trailer floors and it worked great. Lots less expensive than paying for rhino liner etc..

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Worked on my custom hitch for my '66 panel, finally able to bolt it in after all the measuring, layout, and double checking. Everything fit (thankfully!) as designed. Continued working on the new exhaust system for the truck as well.

Did a little work on my bed this weekend. Put it together and started to work the fenders and inner bed.

Nothing today, but yesterday I changed out a bad ignition switch. Had to drive two towns over to get the right part.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I had a Z28 cluster in my '95 wagon, so much better than stock... How does it fit in your C10? Is the LT1 running? Looks like a fun start.

It fits really well. I did this some time ago and dont recall what I did to make it fit. The LT1 is not running and dont have any brakes. I have the impala SS rear end to install. I have all the wiring labeled. Hope to get back to working on it soon...

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Drove to Anaheim and picked up the CPP 3/5 lowering kit (coils and shocks). Installed the rear springs - need new bolts for the shocks (oem were too big). Will finish tomorrow and post pics.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Bought a new edelbrock 600. What a difference. I have spent more money trying to rebuild junk for the past four years and all I had to do was buy it and bolt it in. She's never run better. This is now my daily driver. Oh and the portawalls ripped so I won't be buying anymore of those. New pics soon as I can. I did drop the front three inches and I bought an aluminum grill. Also have some new badges coming and a ps mirror.

Boy do I know that feeling! What are you running for an engine with that 600? What model 600? We have a cammed up 350 in our 1987. Been struggling trying to tweak a couple different carbs. One being a 600 Edelbrock. Still can't get it dialed in. I was also wondering if I just needed a new one.
