my 68 c30 dump with about 10k of gravel in it. 3.5 yards didn't realize exact weight till my landscaper buddy told me. truck was still an inch off the bump stops and the 305e didn't complain at all. did 2 loads that day.

It got pretty hot, the brakes could barely hold it back on the big down hill, was worried about the transmission taking it, and barely pulled the hill back up out of the valley. But I managed to get this load delivered back home about 2 miles!

Ok im in... My name is Alan and I too have a problem... But its not my 72 im concerned about I just rebuilt every piece of my 24' gooseneck trlr. Suspension because the (2) 8k axles really do not like 20k plus on them repeatedly !!!! That is some expensive stupidity !!!
