That makes sense -- 4 weeks to make the wheels, then 4 more weeks to source the center caps.

Brent you posted this on 25 FEB.

So that would make the date around the end of March (fingers crossed)?

That would be a great B-day present for myself

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

Hey guys I'm new to this web site and saw this thread. I was think about about getting a set of these wheels even before I got my truck. I'm thinking 18x8 and 18x9.5. So my next question is what web site have y'all seen that has the cheapest price for these wheels w/o tires just the wheels?

I am ready to pull the trigger on these as well, just trying to decide whether or not I want to deal with machining the rotors etc. The cheapest I have found them so far, is either on eBay from the seller Custom-Performance-Products, they were aware of the fitment issues on our trucks, and have sets available but don't list them, send them a message and they will list a set of 5x5 for you.

I believe JD's wheels is pretty close on price as well, so maybe give him a try.

I bought a set that size in a different pattern for my Brother's 59 and got them through a buddy for a little over 650.00.

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

Ok, thanks, but yesterday I did a little internet surfing and found 18x8 and 18x9.5's for around $610 bucks the web site is http://www.elites-wholesale.com, they have a huge selection of different wheels. But I think when I go to buy them I'll print the that page with the prices and take it to the local summit racing store, because they say they with beat any competitors price.

Lolife99-Do you have a part number for the front 1in rotors you are running. I have picked up two pair trying various light duty rotors and they still bottom out where the center cap inserts. Your help is apprciated.

I'll have to look for a part number. I thought I posted it somewhere on the board.
Can you post a picture of your rotors?
Also,... have you trimmed the plastic clips on the Boss centercaps yet?

Just out of curiosity I made another phone call to the ATL Eagle Wheel warehouse to try and get some new info, and they say that they will have the new design rolling in on there upcoming Thurs. delivery. If this really happens, I will be stunned

Depends on the remaining options for the truck. There's no definitive on this....

Just called the manager of the Bloomington, MN regional office (Dan) and he said 2-3 weeks for delivery. The revised part numbers are in the system (confirmed to end with -3AA as previously speculated in my February post on the previous page) and the wheels are definitely in production. Maybe ATL is getting 'em faster than MSP? Maybe Dan was just erring on the side of caution? Doesn't much matter to me -- I won't be purchasing for at least a couple months yet -- but thought I'd check to see what other parts of the country are being told.

I'll believe it when I see one bolted to a 1.25" wide rotor with no modifications or spacer.

Until then,... Buy a different wheel.
