Went to Super Run today in Red Deer. Came home tonight & am very glad b/c it stormed hard after supper!

Saw this black C10 again, it is very, very nice!

This red truck has an awesome paint job too!

I have to share this: met Dwayne from Calgary here at the show and he has the NICEST car I have ever seen.

1967 Camaro, 800 HP LS3, he did everything except build the engine, do the upholstery and paint. Took him 5 years. Absolutely perfect car in my opinion!

Re: "The Ayatollah of Rusty Hole'a 1987 SWB 6.0 4L80E

Well guys, it's been a fun ride.

I just want to say thanks for all the encouragement and kind words over the past two years, not to mention all the help and information you've provided to me that has really saved my build from coming off the rails at times.

Most of all I wanted to say thanks to my wife, Elly, who has supported me through this build process.

Here's a pic of us today from the show. I'm going to enjoy driving the truck as-is for a while and decide where to go with it from here. I have a few other projects in the shed waiting their turn and.......

Re: "The Ayatollah of Rusty Hole'a 1987 SWB 6.0 4L80E

I've always wanted a red one.

Alex has shown me the light of what a truly perfect truck body should look like:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...375801&page=21

So, I decided to rework the Rusty Hole'a afterall & I will rebuild this red one as a stocker with a slight drop with all the extra parts I have laying around.

Gonna use up my extra parts and drive the 350 red one every other day to save on gas!!

It was an impulse buy really, but it keeps me out of trouble I guess.
