looks like they didnt change the oil much , for a daily driver could have gone another 100k with the right maintenance , but it was not going to hold for what im doing , im just gona build it up right to hold more boost of what i had planed , i think im going to try to hit 4 digits on the hp !!!!! lol

Nice progress on the motor tear down. I found out the same thing on the balancer puller a few years back. I would love to have a lift like that too.
Can't wait to see this one come together. |

today i sent the heads to the machine shop to do some porting , 3 angle valve jod ss one piece valves and 120lbs comp springs to hold the higher lift cam , so in the meantime back to the air supply not done yet but here is where im at so far

That should bring that 4 banger to life....LOL
Are you using standard rocker arms or a custom ratio to increase your lift? That lobe separation is a few more degrees than I would have thought being a turbo motor. But what do I know. Can't wait to hear it. One more piece down, thousands more to go. Great work as usual. |
