Re: Suburban and panel finds

69 panel I6 3 speed $3000. Looks to be a lot of work to save it. But that's only my opinion. The truck is not mine.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/c...907241263.html

Straight 6, 3 on the floor, has a little cancer, mostly solid. Manual steering, brakes. Drop hitch installed. Wood bed in great condition. Hard to find panel wagon.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 GMC Burban 350 auto barn doors and looks to have been a three row at one time. $5600 Relativity unmolested truck that I do not own.

https://portland.craigslist.org/grg/...911300656.html

I'm selling this for a friend. 1972 GMC 2500 Custom 3 door Suburban. He is asking way below the Classis car guide value. Factory 350 4 barrel with the auto trans. Was sitting for the past 5-6 years. I got it running and drivable to load onto a trailer... but still needs work to be a daily driver. It has some rust issues but not bad by any means. Typical areas for these older chevys. Floor pans are solid but will need some rocker repair, lower quarter patch panels or repair, All rust is external only with none on the back side of any panels, drivers door should be replaced. Truck runs pretty good and had a recent timing chain set, oil pan gasket, New radiator and hoses with a block heater, HEI Distributor upgrade and new plugs with wires. I just did an oil change and disconnected the fuel tank to the fuel pump do to bad gas sitting in the tank so fuel tank will need cleaned out or replaced. It fired right up on a small can of fresh gas. Carb was cleaned by me and its not the factory quadrajet but a holley economizer 450cfm spread bore. all other parts on this rig look to be original other than the carb and distributor. Brakes work good and trans shifts fine but will need a service. He is asking $5600.00 Cash obo or half cash and trade for a nice dirt bike, 4 wheeler, or ?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Found this beauty on the truck side of the board and I had to repost it. I wish I owned this one.

https://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/d...999069670.html

This is a verifyable low mileage Suburban.
This is a real survivor all the way from 1972.
It is a very smooth driving 4X4 Suburban.
The first and only other owner was the City of Long Beach, Washington.
It was used as an ambulance and a small scale Firetruck.
It was decommisioned by them in 2003 and eventually sold to the only other owner.
It has only 47239 original miles and a clear title.
It has the original factory installed 350 V8 engine
and the Three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic automatic transmission.
It also has a factory installed posi trac/limited slip rear end.
A Dealer sales brochure is also included.
Everything works.

If you have any questions, please call 509-two37-one8six7 Ask for Mike

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Brought home this beautiful super nice all original medium olive with saddle 1969 in July. 2nd owner with 41k actual miles, this truck has been garage kept and has never seen salt. 350 4 barrel, turbo 350 with 3.73 rear end. It was ordered without 2nd or 3rd row seats and used for pulling a small trailer and camped in. An 80’s K5 seat was added as a middle seat at some point. Quite a survivor with absolutely no rust and drives like a new truck as it should.

I cut the homemade trailer hitch off to have the fuel tank reconditioned. Rebuilt and tuned the Quadrajet and installed new master cylinder and booster. Removed the added vacuum gauge, and hydraulic trailer brake controller and wiring looked over the truck and handed the keys to my wife and she’s been daily driving it. Looking for a chrome roof rack to add to it. It’s been a great truck so far, looking forward to making memories in this truck. No more garage time for this one!

Re: Suburban and panel finds

68 K model GMC 350 TOT with all 3 rows! $4000. Not mine.

https://corvallis.craigslist.org/pts...946893831.html

Literally just out of the barn - this was our family vehicle purchased new in 1968 but has been sitting in our barn for 23 years. All original with the exception that in the late 70's we installed a new factory GM 350 V8. NADA classic value (low retail) is 10K, (average retail) 22K, and (high retail) is 40K. Since this classic needs some TLC I'm offering to sell it for $4,000 (the price we paid for it new in 1968), hoping someone will bring it back to life. Three on the tree manual transmission. It has some rust but since it has been under cover, the rust is not substantial. My dad drove it into the barn 23 years ago, he would start it periodically but it hasn't been started in over 10 years. I have not attempted to start it, I figured it was in the best interest of the new owner to go through the appropriate prep before doing so. I should have a replacement title by the end of the month, I'm taking offers between now and then.

Did anyone here purchase this Suburban? If not, did anyone get the contact information. I’m really liking this one. Definitely worth saving in my opinion.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Roof rack stuff. Quick-n-easy $100

https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/b...979413767.html

For Sale are roof brackets mounted on 4 Quick-N-Easy roof mounts. The roof mounts are designed to fit into the gutter of older model cars, pick-ups, etc. Will not work on newer vehicles that do not have gutters. As is shown on one picture the brackets are made from 2X2 wooden boards that are cut to conform to the shape of a boat, kayak, or canoe hull. A new set of Quick-N-Easy clamps alone sell for approx. $250. on ebay. Although these are not new, there is an advantage of having the wooden cross brackets already made to conform to the boat. Priced to sell at $100. cash

Re: Suburban and panel finds

68 GMC with a V8 and 3rd row seat for a reasonable price $2700. Some one should save this one. Not mine..

1968 GMC Suburban from AZ so not very rusty. 350 with 400 trans power steering power brake. Runs and drives pretty good! 2700 dollars.
I was going to build a 4-door truck so also have extra third door and door frame along with an extra b-pillar.
