Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
ctrow, it was nice meeting you and your dad too..
little progress to report, been working on the hood shocks...fabbed up a lower mount that uses the 2 outboard bolts for the PB hood hinges, then welded a extension piece on the hood hinge arm... it wokred out well, now since i have the driver side made (more like the geomety figured out..) the pass side should go by alot quicker... |

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
I like the idea of running the fuses out of the side cowl, wiring is going to look very clean.
I was thinking about upgrading my wiper system to a newer model vehicle that is sealed, so you no longer need that wiper cowl drainage system. I was going to start hitting some junkyards and matching windshield sizes and see what I could come up with. Full size BMWs and Mercedes have a very nice structural wiper system that would probably require some minor fabrication...that is if the windshield sizes were similar.

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
got the hood hinges made and installed, was going to 'hide' them in the wiper cowl area and use some bellcranks and rods to connect everything, but brother talked me into keeping it simple...and this way, it also isnt a maintance nightmare.....also brother and i got the bed installed (the body lines dont line up, due to the bed wood not being installed) but you get the idea of how it"ll look with 22s on there....also threw the grille on there as well...

I love the strut setup with the pb hinges. I'm doing that to mine. Where did you get the struts?
