Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

There is no patina and its not rusty, and the logo is not about a shop. It has to do me driving my second of three daughters to her wedding this Saturday. The telephone number in the logo has in it is the wedding date Aug. 28, 2010 and the est. 2008 refers to the year I drove my first daughter to her wedding.

Thats great, I hope your daughters really enjoy that, and that they are blessed in their marriages.

I was trying my hardest to get my 67 done in time for my wedding in September, but with finding a new job, and a new place to live, it doesn't look like that will be happening, so it looks like I'll be driving my 01.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

Mine that I wish I never got rid of. But I maybe getting a 1967 c10 longbed. It has the Orignal turqouish paint that is faded down chalky with alil suface rust but mainly in bed. Its nice and gonna be a cool project.

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

I posted this under longbeds. It is not mine but a truck around the area I live at in Garden Grove. I love the Og paint on it and stance. I wonder if he would sell it

Looks cool RatRod, but your drivers side front and passenger side rear need to be swapped....those wheels are directional

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?

This is the best thread on this forum! Here is my truck that has been in the family since almost new then was sitting since circa 1982. Just got it out this spring.

Not a fan of engine patina though:

Pay no attention to the chrome valve covers, they are gone as soon as I find ones that I like. It may be driveable next week! Just waiting on some parts.
