Here I have a 1963 Chevrolet C10 with current registration that works hard and hasn’t been given up to some old back lot or field. Has what I believe to be a 230 inline paired with an SM420 Granny low 4 speed. If you’ve ever owned a chevy straight 6, you’ll know their dependability and ease of servicing. The truck even has a new windshield and a solid frame mounted receiver hitch for towing.

Here’s the story as I know it, a local farm picked it up new in tan, and got a lot of jobs done with it. Gave it a quick spray every once in a while and sold it to a local guy as a red truck. From there it was simply a town rig helping friends move and running to the home depot, up until I purchased it from him, threw a new bed on and freshened the thing up a bit.

1963, last year of the knee knocker windshield and gives a really cool panoramic view of whatever back country road I mosey her on down.

As for the important stuff, it took a few dings over the years and does have some rot, floors and rockers have been taken care of, cab corners, as well as some holes on a fender and a spot or two on the hood. If you were just looking for an old truck to work, drive around or rat rod it’s ready to go. At the very least it’s good bones for a restoration if you’re a long bed guy.

Up for sale is a 66 c10 short box project that started out as a longbed. Cab was sent to Eugene Oregon and and was acid dipped and the outside of the cab is in gray epoxy primer. Clean title in hand frame was cut 12 inches under the cab and boxed where it was welded back together. Truck has a 76 c10 5 lug disc brake front cross member setup with power steering box and booster setup included. The rear axle is out of a 88 GMC suburban that was rebuilt with 5 lug bolt pattern. The engine and transmission is a tbi 350 long block that ran when pulled but has a bad connecting rod and needs a rebuild. Transmission is a 66 Chevy power glide out of a 66 c10. At full price the boys wheels come with the truck but if I drop the price of the truck I will keep the wheels and tires. This is a project I started and my priorities have changed.

Shortened frame

Solid set of long bed bedsides

Good cab that needs rockers cab corners and toe boards. All the bracing under the truck is good

New cab and core support mounts

Chrome and white front bumper

2 sets of doors

Shortbox bedside or what is left of one was going to use measurements for the shortening of the long bed sides
