Did you decide on wheels yet? It's looking great now, but i can't wait to see it with some nice wheels!

Most likely something custom built in 20x14 in the rear and 18s in the front.

Here's a photoshop I did to get an idea. I know it sucks but it was quick to just get a feel of what I possibly would like. And I'm sure the size of the wheels are not scaled accurately but it's suppose to be 18s and 20s.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

I wouldnt do 18's in the front with 20's on back... it would make the front look higher than it really is

Looks like you need a new front air deflector. Check out a Keystone retailer. They got them for around $15 bucks. Nice truck by the way.

Hi G-old,

What exactly are the sizes of that rims and tires you got on your great truck ? (width, backspacing, manufacturer) ????
What kinda parts did you use to drop it that way (spindles, springs, shackles ...).

I would appreciate getting any more information bout your truck !!!

Thanks a lot,

Rob

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

My suggestion is slam it with a dropmember and get some sweet coys or CL205s in 20/22s

Nice original truck there.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

Hell yeah! Dont touch any thign but the suspension...the drop member would be great and a rear air ride would be sweet. For wheels id try some 20" budnik fomosa's or billet specailties vin-tech dish in the same size. coys are cool but I like the budniks! Sweet truck!

Nice start for a project! I'd drop it 5-6", install some FACTORY Ralleys with the caps and trim rings, and install a big block!

Oh, and a new bumper......he he

what I would do is turn it in to a sleeper leave every thing alone on the outside and put a 383 stroker with a beefed up th350 or a muncie 4spd with a beefed up 12 bolt truck or car rear end in it and stiff stocks and coil springs
