Well after going to the Power tour cruise in in Stillwater yesterday i think it lit the fire under my arse to get the truck going again! Talked to a guy with a LS in a 66 that was on the long haul of the trip and he averaged 22MPG the whole way. Not one truck there was laid out kind of like mine and the route i am going (that i saw, there were so many cars there it would take a whole day to see and wait until they all came in) I think it would be awesome to drive that whole thing
Spent the day getting the house in order and garage cleaned out to bring this dude home that way the shop is clear and when im home i can have the kiddos help me in the garage

Got a little update

Scored a complete wiring harness from an '05, radiator, condenser, all HVAC stuff (not sure if i can make it work or not yet) controls, computer, all brackets for the engine,alt, power steering pump, water pump and such trans (4l80) i need to sell or trade someone for a 4l60e i guess, and some other stuff im sure i am forgetting.. Oh and i already have the 5.3 but need to check it over good before i call it good.
