Thanks Dylan. I've always been a fan of the old style snorkel air cleaners.

Save your engine! dont run the KandN. the reason they "flow" so well is because the holes are huge and they let tons of dirt in too!

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

in a sense. they flow well, but the "holes" in the filter that air (and dirt) flow through to get to the engine are huge and that is why. they dont filter worth a tinkers damn. oddly enough, K&N makes reall good oil filters and crap air filters. Fram makes crap oil filters and thier air filters are supposed to be great. i generally choose to run a high quality paper filter from napa

run an S&B filter Shawn.....they filter so much better than K&N and have some serious flow. Most diesel guys run this brand.

Ok so I removed my 1 1/2" blocks and went with some 2" blocks so that when I install my air bags it bottom out on the bed floor when aired out. Here is some pics of before and after and a couple pics of the new stance. Oddly enough I can tell the 1/2" differance

I sure will let you know on that one. I've always wanted to try a 67-68 wheel.. not sure why I say I've always wanted to try one when I've only done my own for myself in my entire restoring career Hope that sounds trustworthy

The guys were saying that the show was the biggest it's been in years.
I really do believe so I think I counted 50+ of just our trucks alone granted we made up for 12 or more just from the c/10 club alone

Great upgrade the blocks look really clean under there and shoot I think even I can see the difference in just the after shot. I may just have to go with some steelies and drop my truck some more
