Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane
Thank you!!! Travis at hawk restoration really knocked this one out of the park. He took this truck to another level and I can't thank him enough.
Quote:
Thanks Bennett!! I am beyond stoked with how everything is turning out!! Thanks Keith. I still can't believe how nice this thing is turning out. I guess this is where the "might as well do this while I'm here" mentality gets you haha. I just wanted to make it nice enough to drive Thank you sir. I am extremely pleased with it so far. I think when I add the Cheyenne side trim it'll really complete the look I'm going for. Thanks man, I am beyond stoked. I finally got it up here in my garage and its really hard to get school work done when all I wanna do is put this thing together haha. Thank you sir, I love my wheel choice. My dad told me wheels are what will set my truck apart from other trucks. I'm glad I stepped up and bought the wheels I really wanted instead of settling for rallies. So the truck is up here finally, my mom and dad hauled it up here Friday night for me. Since its been here I've put the interior back together, reset my odometer to 0 thanks to Geoff's how to thread, and partially installed the vent windows. I haven't had the time to take too many pictures due to the end of my fall break and all the school work I've had but I promise a lot of pictures by the end of the week. I have a few on my phone I'll post up so let me know what you guys think.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane
The gaps still need some work. I think I have the rubber bushing under the core support upside down which will bring down the nose and even out the door to fender gap. My hood hinges make my hood fit like crap so a set of fesler billet hinges are gonna be ordered in the near future

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane
It will make the truck so sick not that it is not already sick. I was hoping you were going to put the trim on because it will change the look of the truck completely.

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane
Thanks man. I'm gonna run it as is till I can save up for some nice mar-k trim but I definitely plan on it eventually. The side trim on these truck compliment the body lines so nicely I can't not put it on

Re: 72 Cheyenne Super Plain Jane
Beautiful truck.
I think it would look sweet with "just" the lower woodgrain mouldings. (no upper mouldings at all)
