Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
Yeah pretty sure he meant rear because he said he hasn't tackled the torsion bars yet and I've never heard of rear torsion bars.

Yea i meant rear only! Sorry for confusion!! I am thinking of putting a 73-87 front crossmember up front? Unless anybody has any ideas on keeping torsion bars and bagging front??

Parked next to this at lunch today. When I came out the big guy was shaking, I think Toad was picking on him.

That's a killer shot! Your truck looks great too. Do you drive at that height?

Nope, in 3 weeks I'm dropping a 400 sbc into it, I'll run the exhaust up through the crossmember, then I can run it at this height, real slow.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
The front isn't as hard as I origionally believed. I boxed/plated my lower control arms with some 3/16 plate I had laying around, added a couple 1/4 gussets. I also "pancaked" my crossmember. I haven't gotten around to doing the steering yet, but doesn't look too complicated. Send me a pm if you have any questions. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
I had dumps on mine before rear axle on my '64 and my '65
A lot of guys run the exhaust out the side before the rear axle but the dumps passed inspection in PA so that was enough for me- since neither smoked it wasn't a huge deal for me other than a little louder in the cab than if ran outside the bed. Sorry no visual aids.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 60-66
Hi, Heres a few pics of my exhaust, It goes out side the frame up front, both run under the driver seat, one crosses over behind the cab and both run to the back next to the frame following the step notch,
Oops I just saw where you requested pics of the pipes INSIDE the frame, Sorry I missed that before I posted the pix.

It's a tight fit, but mine's all tucked inside the frame, and will lay frame.

Nice truck! I like the stance not slammed completely to the ground. You gonna add the rest of the side trim?
