Re: My first build-1967 C10 LWB
Not much "progress" but I did bring my truck home yesterday! I've been cleaning it a lot, got some junk in the bed and cab taken out and I repainted my door panels i think they look pretty good. also I got my door handles/window cranks on. I didn't get too much work done because the weather was so nice I spent most of the week end doing other things. But anyway, here are some pic's of the ride home and how she sits now:

Re: My first build-1967 C10 LWB
I got a LOT of stares and some honks/thumbs up. We took the back roads and there were a lot of people out walking who liked it, I can't wait to be driving it and getting those! All of my neighbor's who didn't care too much for the truck before when it was multiple colors and torn apart like it a lot more now lol and the car guys have been over looking at it. I had to enjoy this week end as much as possible because it looks like it's going to be raining all week Oh well it's almost spring.

Re: My first build-1967 C10 LWB
When I rode around in my brother's Mach 1 we always got a lot of positive gestures from people and I'm definitely looking forward to it again lol. Your truck is going to be a real head turner Rick you've cleaned it up nicely.

Re: My first build-1967 C10 LWB
Yeah it is definitely cool to be different. I saw some wheels today at the tire shop when I was getting tires on my dads burb that would look pretty sweet on one of our trucks...I think they were 17's. I'll try to stop by and take a pic tomorrow after school. I was going to ask the owner what they were but his english was a little hard to understand lol.

Re: My first build-1967 C10 LWB
Read through the entire post, looks like you've done some great work! Looking forward to flying to So Cal in May for my honeymoon, spending 10 days and hope to drive a nice clean truck home to Michigan. I know you're north, but it sure must be nice having access to many clean parts in the areas!
Take it easy
