Re: Our "What are we going to do?" 66 Suburban Build
Good, you can tell that it's a little bit stiffer...we're feeling small bumps, cracks, RR crossings, and whatnot more. But, it's more planted and doesn't compress nearly as much as before over larger bumps/swells.
We took the burb to a friend's shop and got the front-end aligned. Nate wanted to see camber at 0, caster at 5, and toe in at 1/8 per side...the UCA studs weren't long enough to stack the amount of shims needed to get there. See pic below for where we ended up at. It seems to drive well, but we'll probably work on getting longer upper arm studs in at some point.

My son commisioned an original painting of the burb by Studio-66 Hot Rod Art (Gene Chambers) in Utah. I had a chance to talk to him a bit at the SLC show we went to in September and was really impressed by what he was doing...check him out at www.studio-66.com. My son and his girlfriend surprised me with it at Christmas...I absolutely love it!

Re: Our "What are we going to do?" 66 Suburban Build
I've got about 600 miles on the new set-up...running good, no problems. It is about time to change the break-in oil though.
Couple pics from yesterday...had a nice sunset!

Re: Our "What are we going to do?" 66 Suburban Build
Thanks Christian!
The wife and I ran around for a couple hours yesterday evening and dropped by one of the lakes...trying to get some quality time in before we're locked down. This spring's gonna suck...
