Re: 73-87 4x4s
Awesome truck Blackfox looks like it it was in amazingly good shape. Looks great with the the lift and tires. I just love the way a truck looks with a lift and big meaty tires don't get any better then that

Re: 73-87 4x4s
im new to this site however i came looking for some help,I have a rare 1980 GMC SIERRA GRANDE K1500 4X4 with the V22 option on the build sheet in the glove box..V22 (DELUXE FRONT APPERANCE)with means single square headlights and bezells and grill witch was common on the chevy's but GMC in 1980 only put this option standard on the K20 and K30,not standard on the K15,this was a dealer option,How do i post a pic? Also i have been a major upgrade on the truck since purchase a year ago,im now installing a two port chrome fuel mechanical pump,i have three ports on factory inlet and outlet and return, were do i run the return?i have since did new weatherstrip, cab and body bushings, body lift, rancho suspension lift, dropped sway bar brackets, skyjacker shocks and steering stabilizer, rebuilt tranny with B@M kit, replaced all seals in 203 transfer case, and alot more.......Rocky

I believe you can just cap off the return line.

Re: 73-87 4x4s
that thing will be big! i blew the front driveshaft this weekend playing in the mud. its on too much of an angle with the 6 inch lift. gunna look into clocking the transfercase downward to decrease the angle a bit. then should be good

Re: 73-87 4x4s
Picked up another one at auction yesterday, actually drove it 100 miles home with no problems! (Usually don't chance driving them home) Ex Military Dept. of Corrections truck. (1986 K30 M1008) New water pump, 12 volt conversion, no rust on rockers or floors, crappy paint job but who cares and state inspected to boot.

Re: 73-87 4x4s
Here's my first squarebodied 4x4. 1986 Chevy Silverado, 350 with 3spd with granny low. Mostly stock minus motor and PO changed out the stock radio for aftermarket, I plan on slowly working on it to get it back to factory minus a few motor upgrades. I'm going to fix the rust and still tring to decide if the bed will be salvageable being as there is rot in the bed panels and what not. Plan on figuring out why the pass tank was disconnected and fixing it to get it back in use. I have already got a few things for it like replacement door and other small odds and ends for it.
