Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
I'd have to see your rims and center caps againg, I'm thinking chrome or body color bumpers... black can easily look "cheap ghetto" IMHO. Even a silver paint would be better.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Thanks was trying to upload several from phone and that was the only one that would go but when it did it landed on its lid.
Chrome is probably how it will be but had look at it sitting in the drive the one with shadows and wondered what some black would look like? Will try to load some more pics. Here is only one, will only load one at a time and is upside down again? Is that from how I took pic with phone?

I know who you work for, so this type of customer service (upside down pics) is to be expected... Just don't go and raise my rates to look at them!

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Thanks, I think it is how I was taking the picture with my I phone and then uploaded with it also.
Had Oberon kicking some different bumper and wheel color ideas but have not settle on anything yet. Also thought of a white or cream colored top but nothing in stone. Mike what's your account number again I want to add a special promotional viewing rate just for you, buddy! Wireless and land line are to totally separate companies but they both get you coming and going just like all the utilities! It is almost criminal!

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
and maybe dumber than your company, even though I had to talk to your company the other day (after a 20 min wait) and wasn't very impressed either, we then got disconnected and they never called me back. I hate people...

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
No big deal but have made some progress able to start with the key! Seven years in the making! Have a bunch of parts on order. Ordered a new gauge cluster from NVU, excited to get it and see what it looks like. Really be tickled to get the engine compartment completed, completely wired once I have the sending units.

Re: "The way it is" 67'swb
Slowly getting there, did get insurance and registration taken care off! have to finish up some more wiring inside and finish up the interior before getting inspected. Once that is done will be able to use but still have to fix and paint the tailgate but after 8 years the tailgate is the least of my concerns. Will be excited to get her on the road!
Hooked up gauges and everything works just have to figure out how to wire one of the aux lights. Had it wired to the high temp switch with +12v on the positive side of the led and the neg wired to the temp switch. The led is constantly on even though the switch is not closed? Reading the resistance on the temp switch there is over 600ohms? I would have thought it would have been completely open and then come to around single digits of resistance once the switch would go closed? The switch is for a plain idiot light, wondering if switch is bad? It is a advanced auto part. Thoughts?

Good feeling to see the tach and the speedo move when running on jack stands! Do you have much left to do?
