Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*
Drivers side is 98% done. Still waiting on the correct bracket and another ebrake cable for the pass-side. BTW both cables are the same P/N even though NAPA calls out a driver and passenger side... The P/N I used is 94724 for both.
ebrake cable routing; the length is perfect for this configuration: I'll add another clamp further forward on the trailing arm: I need to get some new retainer clips, but I think the OE style will work perfectly here: |

Frizzle,
I just realized that's the same tire I'm running, different size though (275/45x20). Have you been able to put many miles on them yet? Just curious what you think. They were recommended by Jim at the TireRack so I figured they'd be good.

Not many miles on them yet but so far so good. Low road noise. There are pretty well rated in all the reviews.

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*
FF, maybe I missed it, but how are you connecting the caliper to the brake lines? Is it a rubber line or a hard line? Thanks,

Just rerouted the OE hardline and used the thread adapters supplied in glock's bracket kit:

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*
Thanks, I was just making sure. All my other cars that had rear discs used a rubber line to go from the caliper to the axle. Since it uses a hard line, I'm assuming that part of the caliper doesn't move.

Re: Joined the Short Wheelbase Club *69 Tahoe Project*
From that picture, that part of the caliper does move. I'd recommend getting some rubber or braided hose in there. It's a very small movement and might be ok, but you'd hate to work harden the steel and get a crack...

Michael,
I'm good but there are about 50 pics on the first page alone. Maybe your browser is timing out? Maybe a Ctrl/F5 will help or clear your temp files and try again. Dunno. Might be worth a try.

Let's see, are you the one with the orange sweat shirt and matching hair?
I pictured you looking a bit older than that.
