Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
Hey Rick if you have a GM power steering box you could send it into Red Head and have them rebuild it to a quick ratio.

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
Well guys I've been trying to keep progress on all of the trucks so far I've done, and oil change to the 67 and I got a new AC drier canister ( I blieve that's what it is, it mounts to the radiator support) and I've primered the door and some other parts on the 68 K10 getting it all one color hopefully and the 67 GMC has got it's new passenger fender Installed with a inner fender. Workin on trying to get a 67 driver fender and some 67 doors I also stripped the Chevy good so I can fill trim holes and emblem holes.

Now the brake hoses are to long!! :c... So instead I just replaced the shocks. Drives much better now so I need to get the right brake hoses and be done with it.

Haha! I had my rims like that before but with caps and I liked the idea still even though I had my rims red and decided I would go back to it and I'm telling you you should put your rims black!

And a somewhat update... I've decided I want a metal floor. I will be looking for someone who wants to trade floors ( there metal floor and header board for my cross sills ( the wood that I do have for a floor) and my header board. And I think I will just find a nice straight tailgate from a 67 and use that instead Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"
i havent gone to look at it yet. if it turns over and it seems rebuildable then im gonna buy it. the whole on the bottom of the oil pan is from something puncturing the oil pan. nothin came from the engine. when he first told me i thought maybe a rod went throught the piston and out the pan but after the pics im happy to find out thats not the case. im going to rebuld it put a RV cam in it and get all new gaskets and stuff its gonna get an aluminum intake and the script valve covers just like the 302 has. gonna make it a sleeper and reliable!
