Re: New 64 Stepper Project

That was a good choice. You need to keep the truck and enjoy winning awards.

A few things wrong, too loud, console was worn, dash was cut (radio), wrong hoses in engine compartment, A-arms and frame took like they were painted with a corn broom, very dirty engine compartment. He swears it's a numbers matching car but I'll have to pass on this one. Looked like this one:
Damn if i am honest, that would be a tough one. I will say this though, if it is a numbers matching "69 Z28 and it is in running condition, ya not sure i would not have pulled the trigger on this, if i am completely honest. The value of that particular Camaro.... ya i think i would do it depending on it numbers match and not a complete rust bucket.

No matter what, your truck is awesome!

Thank you 88Stanger. I'm kind of picky so it needs to be in better condition than that one. I'd be spending even more money just to that one in shape as I would like it. So it's a win for me. Heck we both win he has the Z/28.

Today my task was to cut 1/4 spring off the front springs. I Love It!

I have always felt kind of dumb scheming up ways to lower my truck half an inch more. Now I feel better knowing that I am not the only one.

You know the first show I went to was put on by the Mustang Club of central Texas and they didn't even look at my truck. After I went home I thought I built an albatross. So I guess I was just trying to feel better about it.
Which is funny because when I had the 56 I went to the same type of show in San Diego and all the attendees voted it best in show. Different I guess.

Cool Re: New 64 Stepper Project

That looks aligned to me - in fact it took time to see the join - satisfying job I bet.
That pinstripe between the red and the cream works really well...
