Finished my gauge cluster and LED lights. Still chasing a bad ground somewhere in the headlight harness and an inop fuel gauge.

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?
thanks Grillzy. I'm currently chasing more grounds.
I installed the new steering components today - tie rod and ends, steering stabilizer, drag link and dropped pitman arm. I'm going to replace the other front spring eye bushing and take it for an alignment. These pics were from mock up, everything has been tightened and greased since |

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?
No wrenching today, but I did purchase a good, clean OEM grill and OEM hood, as well as some Goodmark inner fenders. Monday morning I'm picking up OEM fenders and OEM core support. Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning - depending on family plans - I hope to dismantle my 1972 front end sheetmetal. Or maybe I' should finish bending, flaring, and installing the rear brake lines, bleeding the brakes, sealing the rear diff, adding gear oil, and driving around the neighborhood (no bumpers).
Decisions, decisions!

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?
No pictures but I replaced the rear end gasket, replaced the harmonic damper and seal, replaced the thermostat, replaced the upper radiator hose, put some rtv on a few of the intake bolts, and replaced the push in breather on the valve cover.
I THINK I finally have a blazer that doesn't leak! Rg

At this point I've solved coolant leak, solved trans fluid leak and only have a small dab of oil coming from rear main seal. |

Re: What did you do to your Blazer/Jimmy today?
Started reassembly of the Blazer. Highlander's interior is all original(with the exception of the new ACC carpet kit).

Thanks.
Finished the interior today. Next week I'll be focusing on the outside, installing trim and engine bay detailing.
