Dang, the silent killer sneaks in and POW!!! That was funny to the rest of us. And don't try and act like you didn't know they were Uggs. I am sure you can go use your frequent shopper card there.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

soon as the mounts and headers get here i'll snap a ton of pics for ya buddy. there's really nothing to take pics of that i havent already. could take a few of the "treats" our new puppy has been leaving on the carpet in the garage. Amy just loves thinking of me out there working on the truck and rolling around in it! every time i see her snickering out in the garage i know what she's thinking. reminds me i have to get some new carpet out there this spring.

I dont feel so bad about just using the mount adapter plates now. Not having to notch the frame will be awesome.

well, i ordered my adaptor plates today!! finally! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LS1-C...item414be1ab50 just have to do the "FRED" mod to them so the a/c compressor clears and hope a "best board buddy" can find the template or origional piece for the engine stand mod!

what kinda motor mounts should i go with? isnt there some that dont have the hump in them?

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

Y'all got lucky! I can't find the paper template, but I did find the one extra metal one I cut!

I'll get it cleaned up and make another paper template and get a handful of them made up. Damn, how many swaps do we have going on the are gonna use the factory AC pump?

I'm heading downstairs to lift, so I'll add them up later.
