HERE

It's kinda weird I ordered the offset/ offset like yours but they sent me the
center/ offset off of Ebay. I bounced back forth trying to decide on them I even talked to their sales rep. I guess they just sent me the wrong ones? Anyway they worked out good I think. I didn't want to wait another week to get new ones.
I was just making sure I didn't accidentally tell you the wrong # If mine were a little louder it wouldn't bother me.

I'm still confused? I went back to my ebay and I defienetly bought the offset/offset. I think when I called them about the other ones it confused the guy in shipping. He actually told me what the best offer they would accept on the center/offset, then I went and submitted it on the number you told me. Anyway, it's water under the bridge. I'm cool with the exhaust being on the quiet side as long as it flows good. By design these should flow great!

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Im kinda glad your gonna go with a different cab. I went back and forth on my drip rail for a few months trying to decide if i was gonna keep it or not. I decided to keep it and im gonna try to scavenge a set of 68 side mouldings. Im trying for a factory custom look on mine. Just wondering if a shaved firewall and capped wire rail would be too much?

You should do whatever you like. If you want to shave the firewall go for it.
I am going for the full factory look but subtle custom tweaks here and there with a modern drivetrain.
I hope to get the new cab off this weekend. I have to work on my radiator support too. I thought I had a good one stashed. Turns out I need to repair one or get a new one.

Update: I got the LS engine running
I had a few issues with bad gas stuck in the fuel rails. I got it all cleaned out and it actually runs pretty good. It had a bunch of exhaust leaks because I left the gaskets out. Once I put the gaskets in and fired it up, it sounds great. It's quiet until I step on the pedal. I only ran it a few seconds since the radiator isn't connected. When I get the core support figured out I will get some video of it running.

Congrats on the LS engine start!
I'd like to find someone to do a complete LS install in one of my trucks.

Thanks Rex! I couldn't have done it without your help and many others on this site. You're still way ahead of me too. I still lack all the body work.

Thanks Steve! Just another milestone. Can't wait to wrap up this chassis and drivetrain completely.

Thanks Scott! Well, it turns out that I forgot that I had bought a new intake and injector set on Ebay (supposed to only have like 12miles on them). I didn't think that gas would stay in there, I just figured it would evaporate....go figure. So it was just all the old nasty gas that kept if from running. I took it apart and it was fowl. I'm not sure how it even tried to start. I dumped it out and flushed the system with new gas. It limped around until I hooked up the O2 sensors and MAF. I only ran it a few seconds but my DBW pedal works great and it accerated fine. Now, I just need to figure out the core support, install radiator and give it a good test run....in place on jack stands.

Plan is to hit the sheetmetal hard core this winter.

There is a schrader on the pass side. I'm wondering if there is a check valve where the supply connects? I just don't see how he could ship it to me without the fuel leaking out?

Congrats!

The clogged fuel rails and injectors seem to be pretty common with these swaps.
