Thanks! I like how it looks black so that's what it'll be, for now at least..

As I was sanding out the bug, I couldn't help but going through to color...so I busted out the small gun and touched it up. Then I decided to go ahead and wet sand the cowl and grille just in case I were to sand through the clear. Went through on an edge on the cowl, but the grille looks SICK, if I can say so myself...can't wait to polish it out! So now I need to completely clear the hood again, as well as where I went through on the cowl, so I'm saving that for tomorrow.
Hey here's an idea...paint that doubles as an insect repellant!

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window

Looks sooooo nice! Excellent work. I bought some lumber and i big-arse roll of plastic to build a "paint booth" of my own. Then a neighbor shows up and tells me of another neighbor who has a real-deal paint booth I can use. Haven't checked it out yet, but I'm anxious to.

What did you use for seam sealer? Did you use anything different for the drip rail?

Thanks! Our booth worked pretty well but I'd definitely check out the other! 62ls1 let us use his seam sealer which I'm pretty sure was by 3M and part number 08656.

And this is more like it!! Might not be able to tell from the pics but it's much better than it was in the first ones. And my dad happened to get this one that I thought was cool.

The hood's finally done! The grille and cowl are basically done. Just gotta get the piece that bolts to the bottom of the grille done and get the inserts and I should be able to throw everything on the truck!....maybe tomorrow. Might have the bed blasted by next weekend? Who knows!

Thanks a lot! I'll definitely be driving it.

As always, the lighting seriously messes with the color...but you get the idea.
