Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

Nothing wrong with it being off center IMO. Some strategically placed pinstripes and / or logos from sponsors and you'd never see it. If you were to run a line from the center of the nose of the surfboard to the tail at the longest point of the board, then yes .. it's off. Worth repainting ? .. I'm not sure. If it were the same distance from the nose as it is on the tail, would it be too much white?

I think it looks more like a surfboard and sort-of an offset paint theme like it is ? Maybe have him do the pinstriping to compliment it .. or a gold / tan (match the interior) section between the colors to overlay the difference and straighten it back out ?

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

Isn't that glossy paint going to be slippery when it gets wet when you use it?
Or is the lettering going to be that non-slip stuff?

I guess nothing a few pieces of grip strips to the bottom of your feet shouldn't cure! Surf on dude!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

he couldve made the board look a little nicer , make scalops on it or the inside white with a bleu edge , it wouldnt have been that mush work
oh whell , where you planning on mounting it on a bedrack on one side of the bed , that might explain the choice

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)

The board is a Sponsor / Truck information board, All of the Basic info about the truck and all of the sponsors logos and custom pinstriping all hand lettered are all being done by TXPINSTRIPER a fellow boardmember ! So most of it will be covered !
