email me at ccoulter@snet.net, or post a reply here? Thanks so much! |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Thanks. I wish I had more pics. I thought it was newer than that. I know I drove it '73-75 (summer camp I worked at). It seemed new in '73, but that doesn't mean the owner hadn't bought a used one I suppose. He's no longer with us so i can't ask!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I agree with Bill. Assuming it is 6 lug, the boxes side marker makes it '68 or newer
and, after 1970, they were either 5 or 8 lug axles. Regardless, it is the '67-72 body style. That was indeed one beautiful truck. Oh, and WELCOME to the board! Last edited by ETsC10; 09-05-2013 at 09:43 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I love the wheels on this one. Maybe one day when I can shell out 3 grand on rims alone they will be on my short bed.
Second pic is about how mine looked before tear down. Very similar colors.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Hi all!
I'm new to the site and thought I'd make my first post a picture of my 77. I've been looking for a nice truck for a long time and finally purchased this one Friday. It's a 1977 Silverado short bed. Only 35,780 actual miles and all stock except for the slimline bed cover. Last edited by RShook; 09-09-2013 at 12:07 AM. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
I know and understand that thoses slim line toppers are made in Conover, NC! Because Im from hickory, but I was traveling the back roads of south Ga and saw one on a truck thats been sitting since 1996 when I first got here! But They won't sale it! Those was the thing back in the day and I want one, because of the memories!!
