Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Odd orphan 68. Great for your vintage race car. $5000. Not mine. I really like that they put the barn doors on it. I'd ditch the wing and stacks and put some nice side rails for a cool daily driver. With the 455 it's a tire smoking machine.
https://bend.craigslist.org/pts/d/un...087684340.html Custom built trailer puller/ pickup. She's a 1968, 455 olds powered, TH400, twin radiators, on board air tank, adjustable air dam, roller side boxes, a/c, mileage computer, AND MORE!!!!!!!!! NO RUST!!!! Brakes work, turns nice, but does "not" run. Guessing this was built in the late 60's, how many hours were put into this?? NO TEXT!!!! CALLS ONLY!!!!

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Hard to say if a highlander. With a/c, a package truck would have included tilt as Greg mentions. The carpet and dash pad are so dirty, I can't tell is they are tan or black. With a sandalwood column, it's possible this was just a regular non-highlander custom deluxe with parchment interior. Would like to see the SPID... It's either a YG8 with tilt swapped for non-tilt, or a non-"package" highlander with the seat cover long gone, or it's just a regular custom deluxe non-highlander with a parchment interior (and original column).

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I bet is a saddle interior non-highlander given the color of the column and the matching ac vents. Saddle dash too?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
As the price reflects. I'm sure if it had 4 doors it would be 10 grand more. In 1995 extra cab trucks didn't have more than 2 doors and they were only really an extra 1/2 cab. Crew cabs were pretty rare and so expensive. So this truck was kind of ahead of the curve for the day.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I'm not surprised. If my Dodge had sold last month I would have been all over it. Putting 5-6 grand into paint (White Blue White) and a 3rd door on the drivers side and then flip it for $40,000.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I'm Jonesing on that green one! Looks like only surface rust. And the price is mighty attractive, too! The bubble gum machine on the roof has to go! That Napco is very cool, but I sure don't need a 4WD.

If that thing wasn't on the other end of the world, I would look at it. I don't know if I could get my wife to go up in that country to pick up another truck or not. I'm betting she would stay here and have the locks changed while I'm gone.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Nice 71 C20 looks to be solid from here. Not mine so I've never seen it in real life. $9750. It looks to be fairly priced for today's market.
https://portland.craigslist.org/yam/...117718334.html Chevy Truck. This is a 1971 C-20 3/4 Ton truck. 80,934 original miles. I am the second owner (Fall of 2013). The first owner replaced the engine and repainted the truck some time ago, but the paint has faded (oxidized). There are extra replacement pieces (Steering wheel, new weatherstripping for doors, new dash bezel). Older photos with truck topper on the truck (Topper has been stored in garage, but will go with the truck). Maintenance records (Some records from the previous owner and all records of work since I have owned it). I replaced the carburetor, muffler, tires are relatively new.
