Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Mike, I can not believe how far your truck and you have come, since the humble beginnings to this absolutely amazing work of rolling art you have created. Slightly different colors and interior, amazing products throughout the truck plus much much more. I wish I was able to go to SEMA this year and see your truck there if it makes it. That would mean alot just to see this in person. You my sire are a n inspiration to all of us. Congrats.

I kinda have mixed feelings on the lights. Wish they would light up like some late model Cadillacs.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
I would appreciate that immensely, Pics of your guys' trucks together would be awesome. up here in the great white north we never get a chance to see some of the beautiful trucks and cars that all of you have down there. We are kinda unfortunate that way. It is also hard to get sponsored up here because of that, the work I do is top notch, but I will never see endorsements. So a big congratulations to all of you that have the means down there.

Those look good, but would be much better if they lit up the entire lens....would be much more custom and fit the "look" of the lenses better

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
I don't really care for the look of the lights that have a dozen LEDs in them. I prefer the single bulb look myself. The only way to get the light spread lower though would be to build light housings that are open top to bottom. We can see the shape of the OEM light housing in there with it lit up. If you could open the housing up to match the shape of the lense and then used 2 or 3 lower intensity lights it would spread the light out more evenly and be something only nuts like us would notice. Could be a new product line for somebody.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Here some of the recent progress, plugged off the old lines from the fuel tank and added a vent , almost completely finished with fuel and return lines, all sensors are on the motor (their are several with the Dakota Digital ones and the EFI ones for the Painless harness) I have been fighting with getting the powersteering pump lined up right last night we got that done, Made and Ran the plug wires last night (still have to secure them and group them nicely) , put some trim on the doors, QUESTION on the mustang style rack and pinion does it matter which one is pressure and return ? the pressure and return lines fit on either one ?

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
Pressure and return lines definitely go to a certain port on the rack.
They aren't interchangeable. The threaded fitting in my rack were even a different size. Are you using AN fittings? This is what I used,... http://www.unisteer.com/search_by_pr..._fittings.html Edit: I see the fittings in your rack now.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
i text Nathan this morning he said it is the smaller side that is the pressure, he thinks the top ? I guess i will have to take my fittings back out (they are both the same) and see if one hole is smaller ?

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread (CLOUD 9)
back on the rearlights you might get the baddest of the glare in the center away by painting the tops of the bulbs themselves , irs a cheap enough mod to try if it doesnt work trow away the bulbs and start again
