Personally I wouldn't purchase this truck because of the no title. I thought it odd though that he said no test drives.

Without a title, aren't you just buying it for parts? We are near Georgia and anytime I look at an old car being sold there they'd say no title, bill of sale but I talked to the Florida DMV and you need a title

My guess is that the truck isn't registered. The whole deal looks very sketchy to me.

What happens if you buy a pre 73 vehicle from NY? No titles issued untill 1973 model year . I've bought plenty on bill of sale . As long as I run the vin and its clean . NY will issue you a registration which is a transferable type

I bought my '69 about 14 months ago from Georgia - I live in the Orlando area - and it came with a bill of sale. I was able to get it titled with that - and a list of other items that were required when I went there the first time. I swear, I have never been successful going to the DMV for anything title related without having to make a second trip for something

I agree on the DMV. Hard to get out of there without having to go back twice. That's good news on the Georgia vehicle registration! I called and I was looking at a car up there and they told me I had to have a title
