Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
The extra effort you are putting into the fenders will pay off big time. Looking awesome!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
I have one under my 5.7L. But it's going on top of my dropmember C4 in my Blazer.
I know, I shouldn't have said anything, but I just had to.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
I think that was the right decision Mike. It hard to not keep wanting to do more when in the middle of a project, but sometimes its best to just stick to the origional plan. I looked for a second at doign a motor swap on mine, but decided against it because I wanted to not prolong the build anymore. Some day, after i repaint and new wheels, I will build myself a nasty carbed LS motor to swap in. Until then and during the motor build, i will still be able to get in my truck and cruise whenever I want a break. Keep up the good work and get that truck done!

I agree on the good call as I have been limiting the modifications id like to do as I have not drove the truck in 10 years so I feel your pain..

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
that is what i've been telling her! But i screwed up when i bought this truck and told her i was buying a "driver".... I drove it two hundred feet before i started to take it apart, that was two years ago. lol Then I found this forum and that nathan guy and now you know the rest of the story! lol
good luck my friend, i hope we both get ours back on the road soon! Ray |
