Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
hope you are not using the fuel command center on the fitech install I had one installed and it kept boiling the fuel, changed it and went with their frame rail pump it works great.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
Your right, heard both good and bad about the comman center, but he wants it, so I will try it. I have the frame mount pump on mine and it works great...Jim

You're a busy man Jim
Good to see some updates on your Roadster!! It's always fun and good times helping friends with their projects! I too have some side projects on hand, but that is more on the pinstripe side!

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
Thanks Kees, I do enjoy helping friends, some don't have the knowledge or skills for what they want done, so I help them out and they learn that sometimes you just have to give it a try...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
Sorry I'm so late posting up the final pics of Ed's shifter install.
Pic 1 and 2 are of the finished console, shifter, indicator, etc. Pic 3 is his dash, I had removed a bad digital dash and installed these Speedhut gauges...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
I need some input from everyone. Started installing Ed's FiTech unit with a Command Center. My question is should I post this in the engine section, or someplace else. I don't think the LS swap is correct even if it is fuel injection. Let me know what you think...Jim

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
Back on 1/24 I showed a small update on my truck. I had taken the two pieces off that day, and they have been sitting in the shop. Today Mark trimed the black piece and tack welded it together and put in back on the truck. It fits good and lines up nicely. He will finish welding it together then I can start doing some more work on getting it ready...Jim
Here's a couple pics.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
They will be good repairs. Bolting in place and then welding to verify positioning is a great idea. Jim, those inner are a work of art.

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
Repair looks really good so far!
Expert level!! Maybe a dumb question...in your last photo is an electronic device. Is this a Cruise Control computer? If so, what brand and how is it hooked up inside cab to operate it? I was looking for a CC but haven't found the right one for me...

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
Page 24 for the CC. I am trying to find where to buy that unit because it looks like Brandon Distributing is out of business.
