When I drink hard alcohol, I have always preferred sour mash whiskey. Jack Daniels is my favorite.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
A woman who had been married three times walked into a bridal shop one day and told the sales clerk that she was looking for a wedding gown for her fourth wedding.
* "Of course, madam,"* replied the sales clerk,* "exactly what type and color dress are you looking for?" * The bride-to-be said,* "A long frilly white dress with a veil." * "Please don't take this the wrong way, madam, but such dresses are usually more fitting for the first time bride who is more innocent in the ways of life, if you get my meaning." * "WELL!,"** replied the customer, a little peeved at the clerk's directness,* "I can assure you that a white gown would be quite appropriate.*** Believe it or not, despite all my marriages, I remain as innocent as a first-time bride. * You see, my first husband was so excited about our wedding, he died as we were checking into our honeymoon hotel. * My second husband and I got into such a terrible fight in the limo on our way to our honeymoon hotel that we had that wedding annulled immediately and never spoke to each other again." * "What about your third husband?" * "That one was a politician",* said the woman,* "and every night for four years, he just sat on the edge of the bed and told me how good it was going to be, but nothing ever happened." *

Re: My Facetruck thread.
^ good one!
nothing exciting to eat today, just leftover superbowl munchies but I was a busy bee today.. shagged up to Ojai this afternoon and fetched my new Burb 2 hours up and 2.5 back to OC from Ojai just after evening rush.. sitting for a few years but drove on and off the trailer doggone left airbag wouldn't hold air but rode well all the way home cell phone perspective is hilarious that's a little better except for the saggy butt and earlier today, pulled the 65 out from the front of my trailer behind the house and the brake pedal went to the floor as I was going through the gate!! handbrake and manual shifted back inside and hugged up to the wall, deal with that one later.. enjoying an ice cold Pacifico now and just in time for bedtime

Finally got moved after 3 weeks of packing/moving hell. I took the day off Sunday and had friends over for Superbowl. My garage is packed full of boxes. Now I get to unpack.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Yeah, the one in the fireplace. The OTHER one you can enjoy tomorrow. LOL
At 86, my father just had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. After surgery, it turned out that he couldn't pee pee right so the doctor decided he needed to have a catheter inserted. Four nurses later and still no catheter because my dad still has his foreskin and of course, an 86 year old willy basically is turned inside out. Finally, the doctor himself had to insert the catheter. I asked the doctor why ... when he already had my dad under anesthesia and under the knife, he didn't just circumcise him too? ROTFLMTO! Quote:
May I have yours then?

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Why unpack? Just dig stuff out as you need it. And the things you never end up needing will stay in the boxes to be taken to the thrift shop. Win Win

Re: My Facetruck thread.
About ten years ago a couple of friends and I took a little tour.
First we sent to Nashville to the Goodguys Show, then on to Pigeon Forge, then north west to Bowling Green, across the corner of Indiana, into Illinois and spent the night somewhere around Marquette Heights. I was driving my red and white 72, and when I pulled into the motel portico, I hit the brakes, and it sounded like a big rock dropped in the back. I couldn't figure out what it was, until the next morning. I started down the street and I could hear loose parts in the left rear. We found a really old Car Quest store. Next door was a concrete floor where a building once was We repaired the brakes in that abandoned lot and headed on to Des Moines. That was my time in Marquette Heights. Did you need to know that, no, but now you do. Oh yeah, I left there with the same wife I brought with me.

That is a good thing around here
Hmm, I just bought an old Car Quest building in Pekin. Wonder if that is the same one you went to?

Now, I have a question. You say you took a little tour with a couple (that's 2) friends. I'm just curious who's wife you had since she was a "friend". Was it two but only one was married? You are a naughty boy!

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I guess I should have learned from my smarta$$ remark about the lack of specified gender in your "Worst Four Words" thread to be more specific in my ramblings.
I can tell you now, if I traveled with an alternate wife, my toy collection would shrink, no, it would go away.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
That could very well be it.
As I remember it the store had a dropped ceiling that seemed really low.
